Mirabaud Sailing Video Award : time to submit your videos!
The second edition of the Mirabaud Sailing Video Award is underway and it is time to prepare your best sailing video filmed this year (since November 1, 2017).
The award rewards the best sailing video produced by a professional filmmaker. A special prize will also be awarded to the sailor who produces the best video on board his sailboat.
There is one month left before the registration deadline. Videos must be submitted before September 24, 2018 at midnight (GMT). Find out all the details of the contest on:

The purpose of the Mirabaud Sailing Video Award is to celebrate the best sailing videos as well as their authors. The winners will be selected by an international jury on the basis of the following criteria:
General appreciation
Quality of the production
Technical difficulty
Originality
Members of the international jury 2018:
Shirley Robertson (UK), double Olympic champion and CNN Mainsail presenter
Daniel Smith (UK), Communication & Digital Manager, World Sailing
Georgie Corlett-Pitt (UK), editor of Yachts & Yachting magazine
Nicolas Mirabaud (SUI), Limited Partner and member of the Executive Committee of Mirabaud & Cie SA
Dee Caffari (UK), skipper of the Turn the Tide on Plastic team in the Volvo Ocean Race
Alessandra Ghezzi (ITA), Media Specialist and Communications Director 11th Hour Racing
The members of the Jury will select the main prize, while the public will vote on Internet to determine the winner of the Public Award. Voting will be open from 28 September to 15 October.
The winners will be celebrated during the Yacht Racing Forum (Lorient, FRA, 23 October) in front of the sports’ key personalities from all over the world: pro sailors, race organisers, sponsors, team and classes representatives, yacht clubs etc. Participants will have free access to the Forum (registration required here).
The winner of the main prize - the Mirabaud Sailing Video Award - will receive the title and a prize-money offered by our partner Mirabaud.
The jury will vote separately for the "Special prize of the Jury", awarded to the professional sailor who made the best sailing video this year.
The dates for the 2018 edition are as follows:
Videos must have been filmed between November 1, 2017 and September 24, 2018
Videos can be submitted now, until September 24, 2018 at midnight GMT
Public voting will be open from September 28 to October 15, 2018.
