Besenzoni's new arrivals at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2017
Besenzoni will be on board at the Cannes festival from 12 to 17 September showcasing its extensive product range and made-to-measure solutions. New arrivals on display will include the updated helm seats P242 Seagull and Free Style P220, and the MISS aluminium passerelle for small vessels.
P 242 Seagull – This popular helm seat model, with its unrivalled ergonomic design, will now be attached to a much wider electric base with room for the wiring of an array of joysticks and controllers to be fitted to the armrests. Given the increasing demand for diamond stitching, this can now be customised with stitching and threads in a variety of colours to choose from.
P 220 Free Style – This fixed helm seat with a flip-up bolster allowing the helmsman to stand has been installed onto a special shock-absorbent, cushioned base to create this updated model, offering absolute comfort to boaters, even on rougher seas and long journeys. The shock-absorbent base was put to a special kind of test by the Ciuri Mare cultural and boating association, where it successfully completed a record-breaking journey on a rubber boat from Sicily, all the way to Brazil.
Passerelle MISS PI 461 – Cutting-edge passerelle in aluminium with a 290-cm extension, designed especially for small/medium-sized motor-powered or sail boats. The main features of this passerelle include its aluminium design, which makes it extremely lightweight without impairing stability, and the new full-width gangway, which provides more space, making it easier and safer to board the vessel. When used as a mini crane, it can lift loads weighing up to 200 kg with an extension of the passerelle to a maximum of 220 cm.
